A large playlist almost always contains a few dead links. The checker walks through each entry and reports what happened, so you can prune the ones that no longer work.
Checks run from your browser straight against the streams. Because most IPTV hosts do not send CORS headers, a stream can be perfectly alive and still be unreadable from a web page — so a stream that blocks us is reported separately rather than being written off as dead.
The four results
- Working — the host answered and the browser could read the response
- Server reachable — the host answered but blocks browser reads; it will still play in a real player
- Down — the host returned an error or could not be reached at all
- Timeout — nothing came back within ten seconds
What else it shows
- Response time per channel, so you can spot slow sources
- The HTTP status code, whenever the host lets the browser read it
- A quality summary (top resolution, number of bitrate levels, video codec) for readable HLS manifests
- A ready-to-export playlist of everything that responded
How to use it
- Drop in an M3U file, load a playlist URL, or paste stream URLs one per line.
- Start the check and watch results fill in, six at a time.
- Export a playlist that keeps only the streams that answered.
