1. Interpretation and Definitions
Capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy have the meanings below, whether they appear in singular or plural form.
- Application: the IPTV Player mobile application
- Company: IPTV Player
- Device: a phone, tablet, television, or other device used to access the Service
- Personal Data: information relating to an identified or identifiable person
- Usage Data: technical and activity data collected automatically through use of the Service
- Service Provider: a third party that processes data for us or helps us operate the Service
- You: the individual or legal entity using the Service
2. Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following types of information:
- Account data you provide, such as your email address. Passwords are stored in hashed form, and verification, password-reset, and session credentials are used to secure your account
- Playlist data you choose to save or sync, including playlist names and content, M3U or EPG URLs, Xtream server details and credentials, Stalker portal identifiers, playback headers, and related account metadata
- Support data you submit, such as your name, email address, message, app version, build number, operating system, device model, and locale
- Device and Usage Data, which may include IP address, approximate country derived from IP, device model and name, device type, operating system, app version and build, Identifier for Vendor (IDFV), language, region, time zone, screen information, session timestamps, and diagnostic or security events
2.1. How We Use Personal Data
The Application does not request precise GPS location through our account or device API. We do not collect the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) through that API. If an advertising partner uses tracking that requires permission under Apple App Tracking Transparency, the Application will request your consent before that tracking occurs.
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, and manage sign-in sessions
- Save and synchronize playlists and settings across authorized devices
- Connect the Application to playlist, EPG, and streaming sources you choose
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests
- Send service, security, verification, password-reset, and update communications
- Measure reliability, diagnose errors, prevent abuse or fraud, and protect the Service
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
3. Sharing Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal information. We may share only the information reasonably necessary in the following situations:
- With infrastructure, database, email-delivery, analytics, security, and support providers that help us operate the Service
- With advertising providers when advertising is enabled in the Application, subject to applicable consent and platform requirements
- With playlist providers, streaming servers, CDNs, EPG services, and other sources you choose to access, because network requests are necessary to load or play their content
- During a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transfer
- When required by law, legal process, or a valid government request
- With your consent or at your direction for another specific purpose
4. Retention of Your Personal Data
We retain Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account and playlist synchronization, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against abuse. Account and cloud-saved playlist data are generally retained while your account remains active or until you delete the data or request account deletion. Short-lived verification, synchronization, and session records expire or are revoked according to their security purpose.
Reusable playlist-sharing tickets do not expire on a timer and may remain valid while the referenced source is published. We store the ticket hash rather than the ticket text; the QR code or deep link held by a recipient contains the usable ticket.
Information stored only on your Device remains there until you remove it in the Application, clear the Application data, or uninstall the Application. Some deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained when required by law or for legitimate security and fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you live, and those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
6. Delete or Control Your Personal Data
You can delete playlists you saved to your account through the available playlist controls. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Personal Data and account by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Certain information may be retained where required by law or where we have another lawful basis to keep it.
7. Disclosure of Your Personal Data
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, Personal Data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We may also disclose Personal Data when required by law or when reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, users, or property, investigate suspected wrongdoing, protect public safety, or prevent legal liability.
8. Security of Your Personal Data
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Data, including access controls and protected network transmission. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
A reusable playlist link is a bearer capability: anyone who receives it can import the referenced source into the Application. The link does not display the provider URL, username, or password, but you should publish only sources you are authorized to distribute and keep personal subscriptions private.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Third-Party Content, Links, and Services
The Application lets you access playlists, EPG data, channels, and streams supplied by you or by third parties. Depending on the feature and source, playback requests may connect directly from your Device to a third-party server or may pass through a temporary Service endpoint. Those providers may receive your IP address, request headers, device or player information, and playback requests under their own privacy policies.
We do not control third-party content, servers, applications, websites, or their privacy practices. Review the privacy terms of any provider whose playlist, credentials, links, or streams you use. Advertising displayed in the Application may also be governed by the advertising provider’s privacy policy.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide an additional notice of material changes.
